We highly recommend you start with a private 1-1 intro lesson in your home or join one of our beginner or beginner & improver classes in order to master the basics before you progress to a mixed-ability or intermediate class. With Pilates, as with many things, you will get out of it what you invest.

Once you are on our https://www.ilovepilates.org.uk/ website:

1. Click the ‘Book Now’ button top right of this page – this will take you to our online scheduler.

2. You will then see the following screen:

Been here before? Enter your email address and password to login (if you don’t know your password, click on “forgot password?”. You will then be taken through how to create a new one.

New to our site? Enter your details and follow the instructions to set up a password.

3. Once you are logged in, this will take you to the 4th tab, ‘MY INFO’. There, you can see the following:

  • ‘Profile’: shows your personal details.
  • ‘My Schedule’: shows all classes you are booked for.
  • ‘Visit History’: shows all visits you have made.
  • ‘Purchase History’: shows all purchases you have made.
  • ‘Account’: shows your account balance and how many classes you have left to use.
BOOK Group Classes
  1. Click the first tab – ‘CLASSES’ 
  2. Go to the date of the class you with to book and click the SIGN UP NOW button next to it.
  3. You will then be prompted to pay for the class if you don’t have any payments on your account. You can either buy a 1, 5 or 10 ‘class pass’. These are then held in your account, ready for any future bookings you wish to make.
BOOK Private Lessons
  1. Click the tab – ‘APPOINTMENTS’ 
  2. Select the date and time and teacher you wish to book
  3. You will then be prompted to pay for the lesson. You can either buy a block of 1, 5 or 10 private lessons. These are then held in your account, ready for any future bookings you wish to make.
 
BUY Classes or Private Lessons
  1. Click the ‘ONLINE STORE’ tab
  2. Select ‘Pilates Classes’ or whatever you want to purchase.
  3. You can either buy a 1, 5 or 10 ‘class pass’. These are then held in your account, ready for any future bookings you wish to make. Please ensure to take note of the validity period for the passes.

We highly recommend that you try to stick to a regular weekly class or classes
and aim to do 2-3 lessons per week, to see the best results
. We believe that creating
a routine and a personal connection with teachers helps to generate the best results.

Pilates can be a fantastic way to manage and aid injury recovery. Those with an injury or illness may need a private Pilates introduction before being able to join a class so please contact us at info@ilovepilates.org.uk. prior to joining a class to discuss your needs. All classes are an hour long.

In order to ensure safety and the best results for our clients, all our classes are limited to 10 participants.

Getting your joints and spine into the best possible alignment before moving is a key aspect of Pilates, therefore it is important that your teacher is able to see the position of your body. For this reason, it is helpful to wear comfortable clothes that aren’t though too loose – something you’re able to move and stretch in. It’s helpful to have a warm layer of clothing as you warm up and down. You will work barefoot or with socks and non-slip socks with a sole grip can be useful if you have them.

Mats and all other equipment is provided.

We operate a strict 12 hour cancellation policy on all group class bookings and 24 hours on private lessons and corporate classes. There are no exceptions to this in order to make it fair for all.

Doing Pilates once a week really is the bare minimum. Research shows that regular exercise is needed for good health and well-being and we’ve found that the magic number seems to be 3 times per week, interspersed with other activities. This can be achieved through a combinations of group classes (see our ‘8 classes within 4 weeks’ class pass), private lessons, a corporate class at your work and practice at home. Talk to us about how to get the most out of your Pilates practice and we can advise according to your requirements.

Each class pass come with it’s own validity period therefore it’s important to select a pass that you will be able to complete within that time and one that best fits with your lifestyle. Extensions to class passes are now available and can be bought for only £5 for an extra 2 weeks.

Please note that passes cannot be extended after they have expired and ensure you email us at info@ilovepilates.org.uk to let us know so we can apply the extension to your pass. This needs to be done manually on our system!
